Did you really believe the statistics of the 2020-21 Scobey girls’ and boys’ basketball seasons were never going to be published on these pages?

It’s not like they are that late considering its only been four extremely quick months ago the Scobey boys capped their season with a 26-0 record and second consecutive Montana High School Association Class C State Championship. In addition, in case you haven’t been paying attention, the Scobey boys’ have accumulated an active 54-game winning streak dating back to the end of the 2018-19 season, tied with the Choteau Bulldogs (2014-16). The Spartans are chasing the Missoula County (Sentinel) Spartans (1962-65) who own the boys’ record of 56 consecutive. The Leader hopes to be typing in December of this year the number 57 if ya know what we mean.
