State Land Issue Comes Up With Revenue Director

Brendan Beatty was in Scobey Wednesday, June 9, meeting with the three Daniels County Commissioners during the late morning hours.

The rancher from the Winnett area was there to discuss the return of the Assessor office to the Daniels County Court House and the other counties in the state losing their Assessor during the previous Montana administration. Without those Assessor offices the past few years it came to be known less taxes were being collected and sent to Helena.
