Beacon Community Foundation held its annual meeting on Wednesday, April 28 conducting yearly business and handing out nearly $30,000 in scholarships this year.

Darrel Tade, CPA went over the year's financials for 2020. From the beginning of January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020 The ending balance had improved by over $265,000. Largely through realized and unrealized gains on investments, the sale of Beacon Park and other contributions.

The ending balance at the end of December 30th Beacon’s ending balance was $1,774,700, showing steady growth over the past several years.

Montana Community Foundation holds about $272,000 in investments (unrealized gains of $28,104) and LPL Financial holds about $1.3 million in investments ($171,424 in unrealized gains).
