Fire at Haug Farm–

Fire at the Melvin Haug farm northwest of Scobey Saturday afternoon completely destroyed a 2 1/2 ton truck belonging to Westland Oil Company and caused considerable damage to farm buildings and stored wheat.

Richard Coughlin, Jr., a partner in the Westland firm, was unloading gas at the Haug farm, now operated by Ole Bjarko, when a spark from the gasoline pump engine in a compartment of the tank truck started a small flame. Attempts were made to get the truck away from the buildi...
