This is no April Fool’s Day joke, the Scobey High School girls’ and boys’ track and field teams are really attending their first meet of the season today (Thursday, April 1).

The Glasgow Invitational at Scottie Field begins at 9 a.m. with the shot put while at 9:30 a.m. the 100-meter dash is first out of the start ing blocks.

There are 27 teams representing 29 Montana schools and one from North Dakota invited, including Bainville, Chinook, Circle, Culbertson, Custer County (Miles City), Dodson, Fairview, Garfield County (Jordan), Glasgow, Harlem, Havre, Hays-Lodgepole, Hinsdale, Lustre Christian, Malta, MonDak (Westby-Grenora), Nashua, Plentywood, Poplar, Richey-Lambert, Saco, Savage, Scobey, Turner, Whitewater, Wibaux County and Wolf Point.

The last time the Scobey boys competed on the track and in the field was Satur day, May 25, 2019 at the Laurel Sports Complex during the 63rd annual State C Boys’ Meet. Max ...
