Governor Ford Appoints Attorney Carl Lindquist–

Governor Ford called County Attorney Carl Lindquist and requested him to accept appointment as chief justice of the state supreme court. Chief Justice Howard A. Johnson had resigned to accept a position with a Butte banking firm.

Ben Danelson Buys Fowler Farm–

Al Fowler has sold his farm north of Scobey to Benny Danelson and disposed of his state leases near Four Buttes to Bill Feltis, Eddie Wahl and Marion Suchy.
