1945 Record Of Births, Marriages,

Divorces, Deaths–

There were four more girl babies (51) than boy babies (47) born; on the death list, not including war casualties - the males outnumbered females by three to one. The county records show that 15 males and 5 females died. Sixteen of the twenty were adults, only 2 died from accidental causes. One, a boy of 5, died as the result of a motor accident; one man died from a kick by a cow. The death list was the smallest recorded in years.

There were 40 marriages in the county, several couples were Canadians; 11 divorces.
