COVID-19 UPDATE: On December 21, 2020, the DCHDs was notified of 1 positive case of COVID-19 an individual residing in Daniels County. Positive case is as follows:
Case #137: A female age 20-30 who is symptomatic and not hospitalized.
This is week forty-one of the COVID-19 restrictions. As of Tuesday morning, according to the Montana Response Map for COVID-19 there are 77,947 total confirmed cases, with 69,101 now recovered, 7,951 active cases, 762,854 tests completed, 895 deaths, 3,332 total hospitalizations, and 253 active hospitalizations in Montana.
Daniels County has sent over 728 samples for COVID-19 testing with 137 positive cases, 2 active cases, 0 current hospitalizations and 5 deaths.
DMHC has received the first shipment of COVID-19 vaccine and will begin vaccinating frontline healthcare workers and long term care facility residents within the next two weeks.
