Hospital Fund Nearly $50,000–

Unsolicited contributions for the Daniels Memorial Hospital fund are announced this week by Secretary Geo. H. Jones, who reports that the fund is now $48,216, with several promised contributions yet to come in.

Plans for construction in the spring will be developed more fully at a meeting of the Lions Hospital Committee and Memorial Hospital directors to be held soon.

Improvement of Airport Considered– A recent appropriation passed by Congress in the amount of $650,000,000 paves the way for twice that amount to be spent in the development and improvement of airport facilities in cities all over the nation.
