Donation Kick Starts Grave Marker Project

A $400 donation to the Daniels County Cemetery Board from the annual Catholic rummage sale will kick start a project to get markers for unmarked graves and update markers for some Veteran’s graves.

Three local organizations benefited from the annual

rummage sale. Buyers, at the rummage sale checkout, were able to choose from a list to designate the funds to.

Cemetery board member, Marlys Farver commented about getting the grave marker project going, “This has been a goal for the board for some years, and it will now come to be.” The donation was to be used at the board’s discretion and board consensus was that this would be a worthy project to get going.

Anyone else wanting to contribute to the fund for the project, can contact Marlys Farver or Tom Loftsgaard.
